Day 4 of this diet

Well, today is day 4 of my new diet. I think I have to admit defeat.  I figured out my calorie in take and it is about 1375 per day.  At my weight, that might be just too low for me.  In fact, I am on the verge of a binge from being so hungry.  I wish I had more super human will power but I just don't seem to have that in me.  I am so hungry all of the time from my new diet. There is only so much coffee and green tea you can drink as an appetite suppressant.  And, when you start to feel dizzy all the time from being hungry then I guess you have to admit defeat.

So, I guess I will have to up my calories.  I have to think about this for a while.

  1. Something I've done that has been helpful for me is I've upped my morning calories a bit -- maybe a Breakfast 1 and Breakfast 2, rather than breakfast then a snack? I'll have an egg, 1/2 cup of egg whites (I get Egg Beaters Whites because I don't like to use whole eggs when I only need the whites, but that's just my weird quirk LOL), and 1 TBSP of a parmesan romano blend cheese, scrambled, along with a cup of some sort of fresh or thawed frozen fruit (peaches, blueberries, strawberries). Then about mid-morning I'll have a small-ish banana. And sometimes I'll have a tablespoon of peanut butter along with that, if I'm really hungry. Then I'll go on and lunch/ dinner/ snack as usual.

Tweak your plan and find what works for you. I've had to add more calories as I've upped my exercise because otherwise I want to eat my desk, and that does no one any good!

  2. Never give up, friend.
When I adjust my diet, I will experience dizziness too. Amanda, that's really nice advice. Thanks for sharing the tips.
