Being married to an architect, our house is always in a state of remodel. Due to this, there are times when the house isn't as organized as I would wish. It drives me nuts but over the years I have learned to ignore it in a way. Recently, I've decided that I just can't take it any more.
For my birthday, I asked my husband to help me create some organizational spaces in this house so I can get things neat and tidy. We've been working on this all weekend. We re-did a huge closet down stairs. Now that it is completed, I can now spend this week getting things organized.
Why I am writing about this in this blog? Because there seems to be a direct relationship between household clutter and weight. At the end of this post I will give some links to articles on this issue. There is even a book on the topic. I am not certain that getting rid of clutter in this house will ensure that more weight will come off for me. But, I can guarantee that I will be a much nicer wife if things are better organized. This might be a place that you want to evaluate in your own life. Good luck!
